Bisnis.com, JAKARTA – Circulate Capital through the Circulate Capital Ocean Fund (CCOF) has made its first investment in two plastic recycling companies located in Indonesia and India, with a total investment value of US$ 6 million. The investment in Indonesia went to PT Tridi Oasis Group (Tridi Oasis), which specializes in recycling polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles into recycled PET flakes (rPET), which are used to produce recycled packaging and textiles. Circulate Capital CEO Rob Kaplan said the resilience of critical infrastructure such as waste and recycling must go hand in hand with protecting people’s health and livelihoods.
