Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk introduced its first Refill Station located at Saruga Package-free Shopping Store, Bintaro. The presence of this Refill Station is a tangible form of the company’s commitment to be part of the solution to the problem of plastic waste. Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Unilever Indonesia, Nurdiana Darus, said that plastic waste is still a big problem in the world, including in Indonesia. “Unilever believes that this will be resolved if all parties work hand in hand and collaborate,” said Nurdiana Darus in a press statement, Friday (28/2/2020). According to Nurdiana, the Refill Station trial project was introduced as part of Unilever Indonesia’s efforts to provide choices to consumers who want to use their products while reducing the use of single-use packaging.
